Biography

I've been in the telecom industry for almost 20 years primarily in publicly traded companies Like pre-Lucent AT&T, Sprint PCS, Alcatel, Nextel and, finally, Sprint Nextel in positions like product management, strategic planning, program management and strategic sourcing.

My most recent corporate position was at Sprint Nextel where, as director in supply chain, I was responsible for negotiating and managing all wireless infrastructure contracts with Motorola, including software delivery, hardware, maintenance, technical support, repair and outage penalty agreements.

Since that time, I have been studying social networks (I came up with a product concept for personalized northbound interface and analysis tool for social networkers), location based services (I'm part of a start up seeking funding called HailCab, see www.hailcab.com) and do on-demand consulting for investment analysts, primarily with DeMatteo Monness (http://www.dmllc.com) and Gerson Lehrman Group (http://www.glgroup.com)
